Care Services Overview
Brightwater specialises in providing care services for older people with high support requirements and residential and rehabilitation services for younger people with disabilities. Our care also extends to At Home services, enabling people of all ages to remain in their own home. Brightwater has 20 residential facilities, all of which are modern, comfortable and designed to enable a greater sense of wellbeing in a safe and friendly environment. Residents enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and friends and family are welcome at any time. Each site has beautiful gardens where residents and visitors can enjoy a chat or celebrate a special event. Brightwater is internationally recognised for its high-quality progressive services and has an impressive record of accreditation.
Process For Entry For older people seeking residential aged care, community care and respite. Brightwater, as with all other care providers, can only accept applications for entry after assessment by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). To be referred to an ACAT consult your general practitioner. He or she will refer you to the most appropriate ACAT which is usually located at your nearest public hospital. Once assessed, you can contact our Admissions Service at Brightwater who will help you with the admissions process on (freecall) 1800 005 009. For younger people with acquired disabilities seeking residential, community care, rehabilitation or respite. Younger people with disabilities can contact Brightwater directly to make enquiries about our services. Brightwater will arrange the necessary assessment and guide you during the admissions process.
